On Sunday, Aug. 13th, 2023, please join us “From the Rainbow Room to the Boardroom” with guest speaker CVUU President David Kidd.

This talk will explore how getting involved in CVUU at every level teaches anyone the wisdom of those many groups and ages you can engage in, and that work leads anyone to a deeper spiritual understanding of themselves and the world around them.

Dr. Kidd received his Ph.D. from the College of William and Mary in the American Studies program, where he specialized in the literature and culture of the American South. David teaches English in the Upper School at Norfolk Academy. He also serves as Director of the Center for Civic and Global Leadership Literacy Fellows Program. David has been a member of UCN/CVUU since 2002 and has served on various committees, most recently the ministerial search team.
