Sunday Service

On Sunday, Jan. 29th, please join us for “Our Secret” with guest speaker Rev. Andrew Millard.

Is every religion built around some deep and powerful insight? Is it only shared with true believers upon their initiation into the mystery? If so, what is that for Unitarian Universalism? And when do we get told about it? At great personal risk of getting into trouble for letting the cat out of the bag, Rev. Andrew Millard will enlighten you with our great Unitarian Universalist secret!

Rev. Andrew has served the Mission of the UU Fellowship of the Peninsula (Newport News VA) since 2010. Born and raised in England, he came to the United States for graduate school in physics; some years later he joined the Sierra Club, the Institute on Religion in an Age of Science, the World Pantheist Movement and the Unitarian Society of Hartford (in that order). He went back to school at Hartford Seminary before transferring to the Iliff School of Theology in Denver. Andrew lives in Gloucester VA with Allison, their pre-teen daughter and their furry family.

January’s theme is Finding Our Center.

This service will be offered in person (AND ON ZOOM) at 11 AM.
