Dear Friends:

The Norfolk Street Choir Project is a non-profit organization dedicated to encouraging and supporting people in need through service and the arts. One of the resources they’ve provided for the last three years is showers. They were gifted a 4-unit shower trailer and have made it available 1-3 days a week. Unfortunately, because of its semi-permanent nature and its continued use over the years, the City of Norfolk (which fully supports the project) is requiring that the plumbing and electrical systems be updated to comply with permanent structure codes.

The NSCP has raised just over $7,000 of the $14,000 it needs to raise before the end of July. Given the importance of this service and the tight schedule for raising the funds, the CVUU Social Justice Committee has decided to use July’s Second Sunday offering to support the project. All donations will be gratefully received.
