Board Bits

The  CVUU Board of Directors met on Thursday, April 20, 2023, via Zoom. Board meeting minutes are typically available upon request from the CVUU Board Secretary or the Congregational Administrator ( Susie Gullixson) approximately 30 days after the date of the Board meeting.    The Board meets every month, either via Zoom or in person.  The meeting is usually on the third Thursday of each month at 7 pm.  The meeting is open to congregants to observe. Congregants who want to present items to the Board must notify CVUU Board President Steve Ciganek prior to the meeting, so they can be included on the agenda. The following is a synopsis of pertinent items. The next Board meeting will be May 18, 2023.

REV VIOLA:  The Committee working on the search for a Director of Lifespan Faith Development and the minister have identified a candidate and would like to formally offer the position. The Board has approved. The Pathways to Membership classes continue to be held and we welcomed 6 new members at the service on April 2nd. The committee working on our Welcoming Congregation renewal has satisfied two of the requirements to date. CVUU has identified one member interested in being a delegate at the General Assembly.  There are several scheduled opportunities for people to learn about G.A.
