Youth News 4/28/21

This Sunday

For the month of May, we are going to work on the services pieces for the youth service that will take place on June 6th. The focus of the youth service is to allow youth to share their stories of life during Covid, how they feel about CVUU, their passions, and their hopes for the future. This can be done through original and found readings and/or poems, as well as skits and music. Each youth is free to tell their story in the way they see fit. Youth can record their piece at home or during our RE session. Our final recording day will be Sunday, May 23rd. Youth recording at home will need to have their piece emailed by Sunday, May 23rd.

Before Sunday

Spend time thinking about how you would like to tell your story. Brainstorm your ideas in your journal and bring your journal with you on Sunday.

If you’re interested in being part of CVUU’s Youth Group/YAG D&D Adventure, please fill out the following form by May 1stOur first session will be Saturday, May 15th at 10 a.m.!

D&D Sign-up Form:

During the summer middle school and high school RE will be combined into one group for RE. Depending on the number of youth who are committed to Coming of Age and the number of youth participating in the fall a determination will be made on if youth group will remain as one large group in the fall or split into two groups.

Parents, please take a few moments to fill out the form with your youth as the feedback is vital in the creation of our summer and fall youth group programming. Thank you.
