Please mark your calendar for an opportunity to meet people from our neighboring UU congregations!
The next Tidewater Cluster Gathering will be hosted on Saturday, April 26, 2025, by the Unitarian Universalist Community Church of Glen Allen (Richmond, VA).

UUCC is not quite large enough to comfortably host the event, so it will take place at First Unitarian Universalist Church, 1000 Blanton Avenue, Richmond, VA 23221.

The Tidewater Cluster is comprised of seven congregations, including CVUU, First UU Church (Richmond), UU Community Church of Glen Allen (our hosts), UU Fellowship of Fredericksburg, UU Fellowship of Rappahannock White Stone, Williamsburg UU, and UU Fellowship of the Peninsula.

The theme for April 2025 is “Love At The Center.” This is an all-day event, beginning with coffee and check-in at 8 AM, worship, workshops, and a closing ceremony. All ages are invited to attend. Childcare will be available upon request. Continental breakfast and lunch will be included in the registration fee. Registration details and a list of workshop offerings will be available soon.

Eric Bliss, the Youth and Emerging Adult Ministry Specialist for the Southern Region of the UUA, will be the 2025 keynote speaker.

The Cluster Liaisons are looking for volunteers to facilitate 50-minute daily sessions. The sessions can be about anything you feel is important to Unitarian Universalism and fits the working theme. If you would like to facilitate a session, don’t hesitate to get in touch with Ken Saucer (saucer.ken@gmail.com), our CVUU cluster liaison, before January 6, 2025.
