Join us at 11 AM on Sunday, August 16th, for the next service of our Summer Worship series, “The Magick of Sunday Worship Service” with guest speaker and CVUU member Zack Ashton.

Zackery Ashton is a Chaos Magickian who is living with Cerebral Palsy. He began his practice of magick after a life of seeking, armchair philosophy, and theology, as well as a nearly 10-year stint as a deeply devoted Catholic. As he began to drift away from the Catholic faith he yearned for a sense of community and through the Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans (CUUPs) he was led to membership here at CVUU.

Zackery lives in Virginia Beach with his wonderful and supportive fiancée Kendall, who helps him see the best in himself even when he’d rather be self-deprecating. He proudly serves on the Worship Services Committee and endeavors to share a little bit of his heart each time he speaks from the pulpit.

In addition to his membership at CVUU, Zackery is also a member of the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids (OBOD), taking the journey into druidry to deepen his appreciation of nature and the cycle of the year. In his free time, Zackery likes to watch Sci-Fi TV, play video games, and write.

This service will be offered in person (AND ON ZOOM) at 11 AM.
