Join us at 11 AM on Sunday, Aug. 17th, for “Teaching Complexity” with CVUU member Bree Cahill.
How do we teach our children complexity? How do we acknowledge each other’s? How do we learn and maintain complexity? The world is full of moments where there is no right answer, where pain and loss meet joy and hope.
Bree Cahill (She/They) has been a member of CVUU for three years. They are a RE teacher for the 2nd-4th graders and the LSFD Committee Chair. Originally from the West Coast, she is a practicing Discordianist and works as a Marine Engineering Designer. She and her wife, Bonnie, have two boys, Miles and Terran, and live in the South Norfolk district of Chesapeake.
Summer worship is a time of renewal, reflection, and reconnection—and our congregation is here for all of it. While some things may slow down during the warmer months, our Sunday services continue with a beautiful mix of lay-led reflections, guest speakers, music, storytelling, and spiritual grounding.
These services will be offered in person (AND ON ZOOM) at 11 AM.
