Join us at 11 AM on Sunday, Aug. 10th, for “Temporary Friendships: Stories from a Hospice Volunteer” with CVUU member Liz  Groeneveld. 

Liz Groeneveld is an Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Women’s and Gender Studies at Old Dominion University. She enjoys making food, playing music, and being outside. She lives in Norfolk with her partner and their cats: Mr. Swirley and Leroy.

Summer worship is a time of renewal, reflection, and reconnection—and our congregation is here for all of it. While some things may slow down during the warmer months, our Sunday services continue with a beautiful mix of lay-led reflections, guest speakers, music, storytelling, and spiritual grounding.
