10:30 a.m., Sunday, July 28 -Join us for our Sunday Service, “Together in Anger, Together in Love,” with Lee Ellen Knight. All around us these days—in politics, on social media, in our communities near and far—anger is surging. In Unitarian Universalism, we focus on building Beloved Community, emphasizing compassion, acceptance and love. So what do we do with our anger? It’s not like we are somehow immune to the emotion. Indeed, anger about societal injustice has led to major social change. Some questions we’ll consider: Who is allowed to be angry? Can anger be part of building Beloved Community? How can we respond to anger in ourselves, in each other, and in the community and world around us?
