On Sunday, Jan. 15th, please join us for “ My Testimony on Finding, Joining, and Remaining a UU” with guest speaker and longtime CVUU member Howard Adams. 

Howard will speak of his spiritual growth, development, and discovery of himself through the transformative power of CVUU (and The Unitarian Universalist Church of Norfolk).Howard G. Adams and his wife Eloise C. Adams and their 5-year-old daughter Stephanie Glenn Adams, first attended UCN Easter Sunday, June 5, 1969. They joined that year and became active in programs and activities of the church until they relocated to South Bend, IN in 1978, where Howard was employed by The University of Notre Dame.  In 2006 they relocated back to Norfolk and rejoined UCN, now CVUU.

In retirement, Adams founded H.G. Adams & Associates, Inc. Adams has written extensively in the areas of workforce development; student academic/career/ personal success; and consulted on mentorship program development. He has spoken at more than 650 colleges and universities; presented seminars, conducted workshops, and given keynoted addresses for numerous businesses, education, and governmental conferences.

Adams has authored/co-authored and published fifteen self-help guides and four books.

January’s theme is Finding Our Center.
