Sunday Service

Join us Sunday, May 15th, for ” “Nurturing Creativity Amidst Everyday Life,” with guest speaker,  Rev. Dr. Gaye Williams Morris. “Domesticity, at the intersection of creation and relationship, is sometimes a spark for creative greatness and sometimes at odds with the success that greatness brings. Being creative means having an open heart, despite all the everyday things that challenge us.”

Rev. Dr. Gaye Morris is the affiliated community minister serving Oak Ridge Unitarian Universalist Church, Tennessee. She lives in Manteo, NC, with her husband, the Rev. David Morris, and 7-year-old Oliver. Rev. Gaye is an adjunct faculty member of Augusta University, teaching online courses for the Communication Department. She served as minister for the Unitarian Universalist Church of Augusta, GA, from 2013 to 2019. She has published three books, including two on theology and film; currently, she is writing a chapter for a book on theology and film, Spirit and the Screen, that Lexington Books will publish in the fall of 2022.
