Join us on Saturday, November 22nd, at 9:30 for a fall work party. Our sign-up sheet will include:

Picking up trash along the sidewalks from our north woods to the wetlands on Indian River Road

Clearing leaves from handicapped parking and loading zone areas.  We’ll pile them in nearby tree rings; fireflies and many other insects rely on leaf cover.  Leaves are too valuable to throw away;  support the circle of life instead.

Bush whacking!  Cut down invasive privet behind children’s yard fence and smooth sumacs beyond the pump house.  We have a Stihl over brush cutter and lots of loppers.

Also, volunteers are needed to clean the gutters.  Please Doug Throp 757-679-1713 if you can help.  Need at least 2 people so we have both a cleaner and a spotter.
