The  CVUU Board of Directors met on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, via Zoom. Board meeting minutes are typically available upon request from the CVUU Board Secretary or the Congregational Administrator ( Susie Gullixson) approximately 30 days after the date of the Board meeting. The Board meets every month, either via Zoom or in person. The meeting is usually on the third Thursday of each month at 7 pm. The meeting is open to congregants to observe. Congregants who want to present items to the Board must notify CVUU Board President Steve Ciganek prior to the meeting, so they can be included on the agenda.   The following is a synopsis of pertinent items. The next Board meeting will be June 15, 2023

Rev Viola:  We are very excited to welcome our new Director of Lifespan Faith Development, Rev. Mark Wise.  He will start Monday, May 15th.   There will be another Pathway to Membership class starting on June 3, 2023 

Treasurer’s Report: Pledges continue to come in and are being formulated and processed.     The Finance Committee is working on providing a balanced budget that will be presented at the Annual Meeting on Sunday, June 11.  The FY24 Budget was approved by the Board.   

Nominating Committee: The Board voted to approve the nominations of Lisa Kilczewski and Andy Bedinger to the Nominating Committee

On-Line Auction: The Task Force is hard at work to create a fun way to fundraise.  Tentative plans for a mid-summer smaller auction with a larger one planned for the Fall.
