Join us for a special treat and holiday fun on Sunday, October 28!
The intergenerational Halloween festivities will start with breakfast, then on to a parade of festive souls, followed by crafts for the kids.
Here is the lineup:
Buddy Breakfast – 9-10 a.m. This beloved intergenerational tradition pairs adults with a child for breakfast, ice-breakers, and Halloween fun. The CREC will provide pancakes and scrambled eggs, and each adult is asked to bring a small breakfast treat to contribute: yogurt cups, fruit, muffins, etc. RSVP in advance is required — sign up in the social hall or by emailing [email protected]. This is a great way for adults in the congregation to get to know our wonderful C-VUU kids! We also need volunteers to help with serving, set up, and clean up.
Costume Parade – Children, please come to church wearing your costumes for a Halloween Parade right after the Story for All Ages.
Halloween Crafts – After the parade, children will make special seasonal crafts. We need volunteers to help set up, supervise, and clean up Halloween crafting. This is a great way to help out your busy RE program! Sign up to volunteer in the social hall or by emailing [email protected]
