Come see and hear the story of the union fight at the world’s largest slaughterhouse. Celebrate the solidarity of workers shown in this documentary of Smithfield Foods’ illegal actions to keep a union out of their plant in Tar Heel, NC. Black, Latino and White workers joined together to fight back. The National Labor issues today, including recent Supreme Court decisions and federal actions against workers. Discussion will include urgency of cross-racial cooperation and the role immigration and ICE raids play in labor issues today.
